STEAM MAXX - EPDM Steam 250 Hose

Application

STEAM MAXX EPDM is an extremely flexible hose for use with steam at temperatures up to 208°C (406°F).  Not suitable for superheated steam. Steam hose is manufactured to a 10:1 safety factor.

Construction

Tube - Black EPDM rubber, compounded to resist heat aging
Reinforcement - Layers of high tensile steel wire
Cover - Red abrasion & heat resistant EPDM rubber
Branding - (Embossed) STEAM MAXX EPDM 17 BAR (250 PSI) 208°C (406°F) SATURATED STEAM ONLY - DRAIN AFTER USE

-40°C to +208°C (-40°F to +406°F)

Working pressures are calculated at 70 degrees F (20 degrees C). Maximum working pressure decreases as temperature increases. Pressure ratings can only be achieved using proper coupling procedures. Bend radius is calculated at 70 degrees F (20 degrees C). Flexibility may vary at different temperatures. Please contact IRP if you have concerns regarding your application.
